Saturday 9 September 2017

The Special train will depart Emerald at 12.45 pm, and is expected to arrive back at 9.20 pm.

Tickets are priced at $99.00 for adults and $79.00 for children under 14. Price includes dinner at Gembrook, with drinks available for purchase.

Come along and enjoy an afternoon and evening out with friends, help celebrate the tenth anniversary of Sierra Publishing, and admire a beautiful piece of 1920s steam machinery.

The September weather is unpredictable in the Dandenong Ranges, and the selected photographic locations are rough and often muddy. Warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear are strongly recommended!

After meeting costs, proceeds from this tour will go to the Climax Locomotive Operating Committee, to assist with the never-ending maintenance and upkeep of this priceless locomotive.
